Intercession

INTERCEDE FOR OUR PERSECUTED BROTHERS & SISTERS, ASKING THE LORD TO HELP THEM DO THESE 30 THINGS:

01

Pay close attention to the truth so they do not drift away from it (Hebrews 2:1).

02

Consider and emulate Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of their confession, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him (3:1–2).

03

Hold fast until the end their confidence and the hope in which they boast (3:6).

04

Take care to avoid an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God (3:12).

05

Encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of them will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (3:13).

06

Hold firmly till the end the confidence they had at first (3:14).

07 Keep their hearts from hardening (4:7).

08

Hold fast their confession that Jesus is Lord (4:14).

09

Draw near with confidence to the throne of grace where they receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (4:16).

10

Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (6:12).

11

Have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before them (6:18).

12

Draw near to the Lord with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith (10:22).

13

Hold fast the confession of their hope without wavering, remembering that He who promised is faithful (10:23).

14 Consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds (10:24).

15

Have courage so as to not forsake assembling together, but that they would encourage one another; and all the more as they see the day drawing near (10:25).

16

Not throw away their confidence, which has a great reward (10:35).

17

Have endurance, so that when they have done the will of God, they may receive what was promised (10:36).

18 Have faith to the preserving of the soul, rather than shrink back to destruction (10:39).

19

Lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles, and run with endurance the race set before them (12:1).

20

Fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (12:2).

21

Consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that they will not grow weary and lose heart (12:3).

22

Strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble (12:12).

23

Make straight paths for their feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed (12:13).

24

Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord (12:14).

25 Not come short of the grace of God or allow any root of bitterness to spring up and cause trouble, defiling many (12:15).

26

Be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom they appear as lights in the world (Philippians 2:15).

27

Find strength and protection from the evil one, and to be rescued from perverse and evil men (2 Thessalonians 3:1–3).

28

Not worry about how or what they’re to speak, but believe that the Spirit of their Father will give them the words when they need them (Matthew 10:19–20).

29

Not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (10:28).

30

Remember that no sparrow falls to the ground apart from their Father’s will, and that they’re worth more than many sparrows (10:29–31).
